Our Best Cruise Ever by
Ron P. from Warwick RI
Sailing date: Sep 2009 Pros:
Everything - The food, the staff, the ship
Cons:
There was nothing to dislike!!!
Everything about the ship was great. It did take a little getting used to that on decks 3 and 4 you, at times, had to walk through a dining room to get where you were going, but that is a minor adjustment

Think twice before going... by
Fabio O. from Houston, TX
Sailing date: Dec 2008 Pros:
Brand new.
Cons:
Small rooms, although this is natural for this kind of ship.
Not recommended if you are young and don't want to fall into dozens of "tourist traps".
Ship Quality
Dining/Food All the food tasted the same. Only pizza was 24 hours. Sushi was everything but sushi. Really poor food, specially as you have to take it for 7 days.
Stateroom Quality
Ship Staff Quality Some of the staff was not that friendly, but the vast majority was ok.
Entertainment & Activities Cruise for old people. That is it. Schedule was absolutely ridiculous.

The Best Cruise Ever by
Ann Marie D. from Gator Country..Gainesville Florida
Sailing date: Aug 2008 Pros:
The ports, the ship and the service
Cons:
Bigger showers
I have been on ships before, but not for more than 7 days. This trip was 12 days and it was still too short. Everything went so smooth, that I kept on waiting for the other shoe to fall, but it didn't. The service can not be explained in words every employee on the ship had a smile on their face. The show were great and the cruise director "Todd" was excellent.
Ship Quality
Dining/Food
Stateroom Quality The towel animals were wonderful. Every night I looked forward to the new creation. The best was the hanging monkey.

Stateroom Quality First class cabins and cabin staff were first class
Ship Staff Quality Not impressed
Entertainment & Activities Todd could have done with some shoe polish and an iron for his pants. Some staff didnt want to be there.

What A Great Time!!!! by
Anita J. from Denville, NJ
Sailing date: Aug 2007 Pros:
Ship, Friendly Staff, Beautiful Ports of Call
Cons:
Discover Izmir Tour
We have been on many cruises, my husband is a Platinum guest. This ship was beautiful. The ports of call were amazing. Capri was absolutely breathtaking!!! We loved our nightly events in the dining room-Juan was an awesome waiter. Dino was the best maitre 'd we have ever had!!! Kudos to him!!! I can not end this without saying John Heald our cruise director was THE BEST!!! We had a great time with all his talks and "The Bedtime Story". We have never laughed so hard!!! This 12 night cruise was over in a blink of an eye, we enjoyed evry minute of it!!
Ship Quality Spotless Ship
Dining/Food Food was amazing, we loved the Choclate Melting Cake for dessert.
Stateroom Quality We had a balcony stateroom and loved our towel animals.
Ship Staff Quality Everyone was so friendly and helpful!!!
Entertainment & Activities The shows were terrific. The tours were so organized.

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy We went to Rome a few days before the trip. Loved Piazza Navona!!!! At this port we did the Rome by night w/ dinner. We had a blast the food and entertainement was great. Through our coins at Trevi fountain to return someday!!
Istanbul, Turkey Bosphorus Cruise and Grand Bazaar. It was nice to see. Very crowded at bazaar.
Izmir, Turkey We didn't like this port at all. We went on the Discover Izmir tour and it was awful. We couldn't believe Carnivall offered a tour like this!!! Other friends said Ephesus was amazing,
Katakolon (Olympia), Greece We went to Mt. Olympia-loved it. We were there right after the fires-very sad. Loved the little village of Katakolon.
Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy We went to Florence and Pisa. We climbed to the top!!! VERY SCARY!!! Truly a once in a lifetime experience.
Naples, Italy Sorrento, Pompeii and Capri. We loved it. Capri is a postcard. We were very hot all day-wish it was just a little cooler out.
Piraeus (Athens), Greece Crossing the Corinth Canal and Acropolis. We had a great day. Parthenon and Acropolis were amazing.
Rhodes, Greece Valley of the Butterflies. We loved seeing all the butterflies and waterfalls.
