Very relaxing cruise! by
Jenues A from Abbeville, LA
Sailing date: Nov 2008 Pros:
The ports we visited were beautiful and exciting places to tour.
Cons:
The activities seemed to be more geared for the Bingo Group that had sailed at the same time.
This was the largest ship we'd been on. It was beautifully decorated. The staff that took care of our needs were very friendly and seemed eager to make our vacation the best ever.
Ship Quality We truly appreciated the layout of the ship. Also, having access to laundry rooms was an added bonus for us!
Dining/Food Of the five cruises we've taken, this was the most disappointing when it came to the meals in the restaurants. There isn't a meal that I considered to be remarkable or memorable.
Stateroom Quality Our stateroom was impeccable. Loved the layout, location, and most of all the oversized balcony.
Ship Staff Quality I must say that our cabin stewards are among the friendliest ever! Emanus introduced himself early on boarding day. And, he was sure to introduce Pawanan and Sege to us at our earliest convenience. We appreciated being pampered each and every day with a clean cabin and all necessary amenities without having to ask for anything. These three men went out of their way to make sure that we had a fantastic voyage!
During breakfast each morning, Clarence and Warren were ever present making sure our table area in Horatios was clean and equipped with eating utensils. Their beautiful smiles and pleasant personalities were perfect beginnings for perfect days on the Miracle.
Sherwin and Michelle made our evening meals in Bacchus Restaurant enjoyable. The two welcomed us with smiles and happy attitudes. Sherwin was eager to assist. Michelle quickly lealearned our preferences for breads and coffee, as well. Our Carnival Cruise will be a joyous one to remember.
Entertainment & Activities We'd seen much better shows on the Holiday in 2004. Much improvement is needed in this area.

A fantastic and un-forgetable memory! by
Sam Mintz Mrs Mintz's daughter from Westchester, NY
Sailing date: Aug 2007 Pros:
I think I most like the friendliness of the staff, and the beautiful decor.
Cons:
I least like the food selection of the Bacchus Dining Room, sorry to say.
Overall, this is one of the best vacations of my life. Even though its only my first cruise, I am confident in believing that its one of the best!
Hooray for the Carnival Miracle Team!
Ship Quality Very well kept and clean, and I loved the modern art themed decor.
Dining/Food The food on the Lido Deck and sometimes at the main dining room at dinner was okay, but not the best.
Stateroom Quality The statterooms were also kept up very well, and a comfortable size.
Ship Staff Quality I wish I could rate the staff a million, because I would. They went through leaps and bounds to please the cruisers. Not to mention the fact that they were some of the most personable and friendly people I've ever met, as well as humerous.
I give high props to the staff members, Janna, Sipe, Pierre, and of course the Captain!
Entertainment & Activities I love the activites and entertainment of this boat, not a second was I bored, mind you I was able to relax when I wanted to.
Children's Programs The activities offered were excxellent and fun, and they had a good variety of activites for all ages from 2 - 17.

Amazing cruise memories! by
Lisa M. from Hampton, NJ
Sailing date: May 2007 Pros:
The staff and relaxing around the pool
Cons:
Excursions were a bit rushed
My family and I returned from our cruise on the Carnival Miracle yesterday. The laundry is done, the bags unpacked, and life seems to be returning to normal. With one difference. We haven't stopped talking about the amazing time we had on our vacation. It was wonderful -- from the staterooms to the food, the entertainment to the spa, the excursions to the staff. We all were teary leaving our dining room waiter/waitress, and made sure we took pictures to remember them. We've already checked out next year's cruises and hope to join the ship and crew in the next 18 - 24 months once again. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for a wonderful vacation, fantastic memories, and the relaxation I've needed for years.
Ship Quality
Dining/Food If you have a chance, be sure to spend the extra $$ for dinner at Nick and Nora's Supper Club. It was worth the $$ -- the food was amazing.
Stateroom Quality The rooms were great -- clean, plenty large enough and the beds were very comfortable.
Ship Staff Quality I can't say enough about the staff. They were friendly, helpful and just wonderful to talk to and share stories with. It was obvious they were there to please their customers.
Entertainment & Activities The shows were excellent! Bingo is a hoot for all ages, and the pool side games and parties were a blast.
Children's Programs FANTASTIC!!! My 10 year old daughter loved Camp Carnival -- both the staff and the activities -- and we loved having some time to ourselves. Camp Carnival was the best. One downside I might mention -- they have a CO2 program for 15-17 year olds. It was pretty lame. I hope they put some work into it.

Road Town, Tortola, B.V.I. Again, not enough time to experience Tortola. However, we did go on a great excursion in the time we had. We went on the Dolphin Encounter and Dolphin Swim Adventure. It was amazing to actually be in the water with dolphins, to interact with them, and our older daughter even swam with them. The pictures are priceless!
Don't Miss: My sister went to the Baths -- she said they were amazing and the pictures are beautiful.
San Juan, Puerto Rico We went horseback riding along the rain forest. It was a lovely ride, and plenty long -- I think we rode for at least 60-90 minutes, plus a stop at the river along the way. We didn't get to hear anything about what we were seeing -- which would've been a nice addition. The kids loved the excursion. My only complaint overall -- for all ports -- was there wasn't enough time to engage in more than one excursion. I didn't feel like I had a chance to really experience San Juan.
Don't Miss: While in port, we happened across a local man with three very large birds. We have great pictures with him.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas St. Thomas was the best in terms of time. We were able to get off the ship and shop, then return to the ship for our excursion. This was my favorite excursion -- Trunk Bay Beach & Snorkel. If you haven't seen or been to Trunk Bay (it's one of the top 10 beaches in the world) -- you must go. It's BEAUTIFUL. The snorkeling was great -- we took lots of underwater pics.
Don't Miss: Don't miss Trunk Bay.

How wonderful it was by
Billy T. from Kenai, Alaska
Sailing date: Nov 2006 Pros:
The relaxation
Cons:
None
I am 60 years old and have never been on a cruise. My wife has been on several and most of my friends have told me how good they are. I decided that this was the year and now I wish I had started the cruises years ago. From the first moment they made you feel so welcome and special. The whole ship crew was great. There was so much food. Any kind of food that you want. Formal dining to hamburger, to everything in between. If you are hungry it is your own fault.
The off ship excursions were so well put together. No long waits for things you signed up to do. No hassle getting to shore and back on ship. We had a room with a balconey, ocean view and it was so neat. You could go on the balconey and watch the ocean. Or you can go to the sun deck and have a drink and watch the ocean roll by. Our room was so nice and the staff that took care of it did such a great job.
I guess you get the picture that I really loved the cruise and can't wait for the next one.
Ship Quality Our ship was about 1,000 ft. long. It was the Miracle and what a ship it is. Everything was so easy to get to. It was a really clean ship with great common area's. The ship staff was cleaning it all the time and it is really a great ship.
Dining/Food Oh the food was so good. Anything that you want to eat and I think they have it. Not only do they have any kind of food but it is also so good. They really have it together on the food distribution.
Stateroom Quality Our room was so comfortable and if I had never went anywhere else on the ship it would have been great. The staff that took care of the room was there all the time to straighten it out. I've never seen such effiecent people as our state room crew. What wonderful people they are.
Ship Staff Quality The whole staff was friendly and willing to do whatever it took to get the job done. I don't think I've seen nicer people ever.
Entertainment & Activities My wife loved the entertainment and activities. I really didn't go to many shows or activities because I was just enjoying the ship so much. The one's I did go to were great and I really enjoyed them.
Collapse List of Ports
Belize City, Belize We did the canopy jungle tour and that was so much fun. My wife was sure that you would not be able to do it. But the staff at the jungle tours made sure that you were harrnesed in good and it was great.
Don't Miss: So far the jungle tour but I heard the snorkling was great also.
Costa Maya, Mexico In Costa Maya, Mexico we did the sail and snorkle. The crew that took us our was great and our safty was of such concern to them. We snorkled along the second biggest coral reef in the world and saw lots of bueatiful fish and coral. It was great.
Don't Miss: There is so much more to see there but the snorkling was great.
Cozumel, Mexico I messed up and took a free day and decided that I would do things on my own. That was a mistake because I didn't have a clue which way to go or what to do. I will do the group tours from now on.
George Town, Grand Cayman Swimming with the sting rays was so cool. Never thought I would enjoy it that much. It was so much fun. Also the turtle farm.
Don't Miss: I think the turtle farm would be the one thing that you would not want to miss.
