Staterooms are very nice and clean. Cruise staff is very kind and always looking for ways to impress you in a positive way. Shore excursions are pricey in the Cruise. I recommend to take your own excursion once you get to the shore. Food is very good. Dinners are always a good moment. Overall Rating: About the Reviewer: Age: 50 - 65 Cruise Experience: 4 - 6 cruises Traveler Type: Group Stateroom Type: Oceanview Enjoyble Cruise by Brenda W from MS Sailing date: May 2007 Pros: Being with friends at Kareoke Cons: Alcohol served to minors and disappointed with some of the food We took a group of high school church choir members on this cruise. The overal cruise was good. I was disappointed that underage youth were served alcohol by the Carnival staff with no question of age. We observed many youth so affected by alcohol they were not in control of their actions. We were happy that our youth were well-behaved and a fine example to others. Check-in in New Orleans was 3 hours, longer than I've ever had to wait to board a ship. Our room was small but adequate, and being with friends made the trip a pleasant experience. I enjoyed having an oceanview room. Ship seemed in desperate need of an overhaul. Food was not as good as we have had on other cruise lines. Trying to walk down the main street was just annoying with people coming out of the stores trying to get you in and sell you stuff. Cons: my room...its was just boring I love to go on this ship again! its very nice...everyone was so nice and i felt comfortable...so i would reall much want to go on it again, thanks you!! love everyone and thanks for the great time that i had!!!hehehe Ship Details: Ship Quality when i fist came in it was like a mall...very nice and well decorated. I liked this one guy named Noonan(i think thats how you spell it). He was very funny..and I enjoyed laughing with him! Dining/Food the food was awesome!!! very nice at dinner time, on captains night i didn't meet him, although i saw him at the universe lounge! Stateroom Quality the beds were very comfortable and i liked the animals they made out of towels...very nice!i felt comfortable around everyone!i took alot of pictures!hehehe Ship Staff Quality yes...alot of people were friendly there...especially te indonesian or indian people and the house keeping people! i really enjoyed it! Entertainment & Activities the entertainment was great i liked it alot! my cousins and i would usually stay in the universe lounge when we were boried, it was nicely decorated and there was usually something going on in there. 5 out of 7 people found this review helpful.
